The brief
Create a digital catalogue of industrial architecture monuments of the Kirov region on the website of the Slobodskoy water tower (slbtower.ru). The catalogue has to be open for local history museums and activists to add to.
Context
The project was delivered with the support of the Potanin Foundation. A catalogue of industrial architecture appeared on the website of the Slobodskoy water tower — water towers, plants, factories and other objects of the region. The building records state the status (in use / under restoration / lost), the style, the year of construction and a gallery of images. Local history museums of the region’s districts joined in filling the catalogue (the first was the Nolinsk Museum of History and Local Lore). Anyone can take part.
Solution
A catalogue was developed on WordPress. What was implemented:
- A personal account area for working with objects
- A form for proposing a new object to the catalogue
- Notifications for administrators through a Telegram bot when new proposals arrive
- Building records with status, style, year of construction and a gallery of images

Result
